Daydream Racing Team

October 1-3 2004

Driving from Golden, Colorado to the outskirts of Tulsa, Oklahoma took us about 14 hours - the same amount of time it took to drive to Las Vegas in May of this year. This trip we found we had a stow away with us. Our cat, Yahoo, had climbed into the Porsche and we were about 3 hours from home when we discovered her all snuggled in the drivers seat.

Later in the trip, Dwight spotted our trailer tire had 2 large bulges (see picture below). We were lucky to catch it before it "blew".

On the left, we are arriving and for $20 had electricity for 3 days while. (not as noisy as the generator)

Our hotel was another 35 miles into town and we had to go through a toll each way. Here Dwight is fishing Yahoo out from under the bed so we can take her to the track.

Below: This was 101's first time out on the track and he ended up on the tire wall.

Paul is wrapping her up so we can get her from the room to the truck without being scratched!
